My name is Joey and I have been a musician for more than 20 years.

Music is not just a hobby or a career for me; it is an integral part of my life. I almost literally owe everything and everyone I have in my life to music. If it weren't for music, I wouldn't have met my amazing wife and we wouldn't have been blessed with our amazing son!

 My love of music started when I first saw the 5th and 6th graders in my elementary school's percussion club. I had never seen a drum before, but I instantly knew that was my calling. I quickly fell in love with the art, and 20 years later, my passion for music is still going strong.

Throughout my career, I'd like to think that I have accomplished many great things. I marched 5 years of D.C.I, won 3 world championships with The Blue Devils, recorded music for movie soundtracks, learned from some of  the greatest artistic and educational minds in the world, and taught, judged, and cliniced at some of the most successful and prestigious music programs around the country.
